Front of House Manager for Uptown Life Group

Who You Are: 

You are a dedicated and enthusiastic hospitality professional with a knack for leading and inspiring teams. You are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere. 

Responsibilities:

● Lead the front-of-house team with a positive attitude and servant leadership style. 

● Conduct daily lineups and manage daily operations for the front of house. 

● Assist with managing inventories alongside the management team. 

● Collaborate with the owner on placing orders for necessary items. 

● Organize training sessions for new hires and ongoing education for team members. 

● Assist owners with the development and opening of new concepts and projects. 

● Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant, including overseeing side work and open/closing duties.  

● Help maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas. 

● Create and manage the front-of-house team schedule. 

● Collaborate with other management members to ensure smooth operations. 

● Ensure the building is locked and secured at the end of shifts. 

● Assist the owner with managing labor costs. 

● Foster a drama-free and positive work environment. 

● Maintain steady communication with owners. 

● Perform miscellaneous tasks and assignments as requested by the owners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

● Proven experience in a full-service restaurant as a Front of House Manager or similar role. 

● Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. 

● Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

● Superior communication skills. 

● Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 

● Sound and professional judgment.  

Physical Requirements: 

● Constant standing and walking. 

● Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crawling. 

● Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and/or ramps. 

● Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours per shift. 

● Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and rotation of the spine, elbows, and wrists. 

● Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
